This is a great opportunity for you to discover the best of Las Alpujarras and Granada. Three days of Mountain Bike action, two days of ripping the Sierra Nevada snow slopes and another day to do an activity of your own choice or if you want you can just chill out at the Sunshine Breaks Mountain Villa.

Fly into Almeria or Granada on the Saturday where you'll be met by one of our team and transfered to your base for the week Casa Escocia (see our Mountain Villa page for further details). Settle in, relax and prepare for a fantastic week of mountain fun. We'll keep a close eye on the weather and chose the best two days to head up to the snow slopes and in between we'll show you some of the best mountain bike trails around the area.

We'll also give you lots of options for the You Choose day. Horse riding, wine tasting, caving and stained glass workshops are just a few of the activities going on in the area and we'll point you in the right direction for whatever you decide. Alternatively you could just kick back and enjoy the surroundings of our wonderful villa set at the top of the Alpujarran village of Nechite (Valor).

The Mountain Biking will be as hard or as easy as you want. There is something for everyone here and you will be delighted at how much there is to do here and how little used the area is. We often go out for days at a time without coming across anyone other than the odd shepherd! The rides are guided and fully supported but there is no problem if you want to head off yourself and explore the area. You can also bring your own bikes and we have secure storage for any equipment you bring with you.

The Sierra Nevada snow resort is a fantastic place. You'll need sun block here as it is the sunniest snow resort in Europe. If you ride the lifts to the top of the mountains you can look over the Med to the northern shores of Africa. There are plenty facilities, cafes and bars for you to check out in between runs. Oh yeah ... and the snow is great !!
